Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Studies with a concentration in Community Health and Social Services for Children

The Community, Health, and Social Services for Children (CHSS) Concentration in the Early Childhood Studies Major prepares students to work with children and adolescents in private and public programs.  This concentration is perfect for students who intend to:

  • Seek certification as a Child Life Specialist

  • Enroll in graduate school for certification as a Counselor, Therapist, Social Worker, Child Life Specialist or related career

  • Work in a public service agency that serves children and families (such as First 5 or WIC)
