I have been teaching in the Early Childhood Studies department at SSU since 2014.  Working with college students as they develop into future leaders in our communities is a privilege.  I particularly love to support SSU students as they make meaningful connections about developmentally appropriate practices, develop positive strategies for supporting all children and families, and shape their own ideology about how to most effectively impact our communities.  In addition to teaching and advising at SSU, for the past eight years, I have worked as a parent educator, supporting at-risk families. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family outside, hiking and mountain biking.
