CSET and CBSET Study Resources Available now! 

Interactive CSET workshops (via zoom)

These virtual workshops will be led by an instructor and will provide real world practice and feedback on multiple subject CSET content areas. Each workshop is 2.5 hours long and will cover both multiple choice and constructed response practice in each of the subtest content areas. This resource is free to any SSU student who is conditionally accepted into a teacher credential program or applying for spring 2021.

240 Tutoring Study Guide Program 

 This fully online resource will provide practice exams, instructional content, and flash card review to help prepare students for the CBEST exam, the RICA, all MULTIPLE SUBJECT CSET content areas, and most SINGLE SUBJECT CSET content areas (Mathematics, English, Physical Education, General Science, & Social Science). Students will be assigned an SSU advisor who will help participants to stay on track, problem solve any issues, and provide overall support for student success. This resource is FREE to any SSU student who is conditionally accepted into a teacher credential program or applying for SPRING/FALL 2021. You must be registered for your CBEST/CSET exam(s) prior to signing up for this resource. Please contact Dr. Suzanne O'Keeffe at okeeffes@sonoma.edu if you're interested in this resource. 

Science CSET Workshops and Method Courses 

The Mathematics and Science Teacher Initiative (MSTI) at California State University, Fresno is pleased to announce the availability of FREE, interactive, online mathematics and science CSET courses and workshops for Spring/Summer 2021. These workshops target content that can be found on the SINGLE SUBJECT SCIENCE CSET exams. Each session is recorded. Following each class, participants receive a link to access this recording so that selected topics can be reviewed if desired.

BUTTE CO. OFFICE OF ED FUTURE EDUCATOR SUPPORT (FES) PROGRAM

Butte County Office of Education is providing an online program to prepare you for the CBEST/CSET. FES is committed to supporting Future Teacher Candidates succeed with their exams. Partnering with Sonoma State University allows FES to offer CBEST/CSET/RICA Test Prep Support starting Fall 2020. This resource is FREE to any SSU student who is conditionally accepted into a teacher credential program or applying for Spring 2021. Through a grant the fee is waived and successful completion of the program will provide you with $100 for exam fee. See  Future Educator Support Filer for additional information.
